I’m Jess, 

​

As a busy single mum, I know exactly how hard it is to juggle everything — work, family, and somehow still make time for you. I’ve been there, trying to keep all the plates spinning and feeling like there’s never enough time in the day. But over the years, I’ve learned how to find the balance — and now I help other busy people do the same.

​

Thrive Online is a premium online coaching service built for busy professionals and parents who want more than just a workout plan. We help real people build structure, balance, and confidence through personalised training, nutrition, and accountability — all designed to fit around your life, not take it over.

​

With over 15 years of experience in the fitness industry and two awards along the way, I know this journey isn’t always straightforward. There’s so much misinformation out there that makes fitness feel harder than it needs to be — so my mission is to simplify it. No quick fixes, no extremes — just smart, sustainable progress that works in the real world.

​

At JWPT, we believe fitness is about more than just how you look. It’s about building discipline, confidence, and energy that carry into every part of your life — at home, at work, and beyond. Whether you’re trying to get stronger, boost your energy, or just feel good in your own skin again, I’ll be in your corner every step of the way.

JADEY- MAIN GOAL - REDUCTION IN BODY FAT & IMPROVE MUSCLE MASS

Jadey had reached a point in her life where she was constantly tired, struggling with sleep, low energy levels and not fuelling her body adequately. WIthin two weeks at Thrive she had seen massive improvements in her sleep and energy levels and had increased her calories but had started losing weight. She went from strength to strength, training more efficiently, smashing her PBs and nailing her nutrition. 💬 Jess has been my PT for nearly 2 years now and she has helped me make massive changes to my mental and physical health. When I first met Jess my self esteem and confidence was extremely low, my fitness level was very poor and I was extremely overweight.

 

Jess has taught me about nutrition, she introduced me to eating by using a macro split focusing on fat, protein and carbs. Eating in this way has led to me losing five stone and many inches by increasing the amount of food that I eat but making sure it was the right food (and no that does not mean salad! It means pasta, chicken, bread, fruit and even cake!).

 

When I first started with Jess I had never even touched a bar bell and could barely do a burpee but now I can deadlift 102.5kg, climb a rope, do a handstand and I have run a marathon!

 

Jess has helped me change my mindset regarding weight loss. I am not focusing on losing weight anymore, I am focusing on performance goals - running faster and further, lifting heavier and working on gymnastics skills. I have gone from weighing myself twice a day to weighing just once a month and using measurements and photos to gauge progress, the number on the scale is not important anymore!!

 

Jess understands what it is like to be a busy working woman, running a household, juggling a budget whilst keeping on top of nutrition and training  . The support I have received, and continue to receive from Jess is second to none and this comes in the form of weekly and monthly check ins, the thrive online WhatsApp group and daily motivational messages. We work together to set short and long term goals and Jess will then produce workouts to help me smash those goals. We work on nutrition, sleep, water and fitness goals. She adapts her approach to suit your needs, your goals, your fears and your worries. Jess has changed my life in terms of physical fitness, confidence and self esteem and has become a friend for life.’

My story 

13 years ago, after having my first child, I had gained a huge amount of weight and was suffering with post-natal depression and dealing with motherhood as a single parent. It was a dark time I honestly didn’t know where to start. But I did know, having always been in love with sport and the gym from my teens, getting moving again would help. 
I will never forget that first day back at the gym! It felt awful, in every way! (I had been a personal trainer for around a year and a half before getting pregnant with my son). Even though as a trainer, I knew what I needed to do and set myself realistic goals, I just never realised the mental implications or the physical implications that being overweight and out of shape brought to the table. It took a lot of harsh talk to myself as well as DRAGGING myself to the gym before it got easier. But the point is, it did get easier. Each and every day that passed, I got stronger, physically and mentally. I was able to tackle life and single parenting head on as I felt more in control, I had more patience, I had more energy. It had an amazing impact on my life, and I have never looked back.

I often have the old, ‘well what do you know about being overweight’ comment thrown my way by clients, but the fact is my lovelies, I have been there and came out winning. AND I decided with my first-hand experience, my knowledge within the health and fitness industry, I needed to share that with others. With all the contradictory advice, the fad diets and lack of support out there, I felt I needed to make it my mission to help others take control. Even if I helped just one person along the way, it's been a worthwhile journey. 13 years on, I have been lucky enough to have helped hundreds of you lovely lot. YOU are not on your own, and you can strike that balance between life and fat loss, it's achievable and I am going to show you how!!!

Jess is INCREDIBLE. There really isn’t another word to describe her. The thrive community that she has built is an amazing environment where everyone supports and encourages each other to be the best version of themselves. She dedicates so much time into everyone’s individual programming and is always available for help, questions, or just a general natter. I always know that if I do well in a workout or I complete a milestone specific to me, she will be on the sidelines cheering me on and will be genuinely happy for my success - this is what makes her stand out the most! She gives such a high level of attention and to each person and their goals that it’s physically impossible to not make progress mentally and physically!. When I started with Thrive I was absolutely petrified of the gym and I felt like shell of myself. In such a short amount of time, jess built my confidence massively and now I don’t think twice walking into the gym and my butterflies have been replaced with excitement towards my workouts! Not only have I lost a massive amount of weight that I never would have been able to do myself, I’m also eating more than I ever have on a diet and my entire mindset towards a ‘diet’ has completely changed. I can have my cake AND eat it!! I’m lifting weights confidently and I’m enjoying every second!! I really cannot thank Jess enough for completely changing my outlook on life and bringing the old me back. She really has taught me that it’s more than just weight loss it’s an entire lifestyle change - and it’s the best lifestyle change anyone could ask for!!

'Jess and Thrive have supported me since day one, providing tailored macros for my nutrition, which has meant I’ve lost 2 stone, daily motivation and weekly check-ins, a WhatsApp group to chat & support like-minded women in Thrive, all in the same boat. Jess has also put on some motivational, fun group in-person training sessions, barbells, kettlebells and a “beach bonanza” all encouraging and supportive.

 

She has created and tailored workouts just for me, alongside cycling and outdoor running, she understands my goals, limitations and preferences. Whether it’s bodyweight exercises, HIIT, barbell or mobility sessions she’s got it all covered.

 

I’ve had some amazing results I’ve not only lost weight , but I feel stronger, more confident and full of energy. I’ve met all my goals inc. weight loss, I’ve run a ½ marathon, 10ks, got loads of PB’s. My clothes fit better, I feel better!
